A few weeks back, I posted a recipe of "Cookies and Cream" on my blog. This recipe is quite similar to it. It's only more solidified! It also takes only 3 ingredients. I have just substituted Full Cream with White Chocolate. I somehow have started liking Oreo cookies because of it's abilities to transform a recipe into a magical one!
Here comes the recipe: Ingredients: White Chocolate bars - 3 Condensed Milk - 1 tin. Oreo or any kind of cookies - 1 packet.
Procedure:
Break the cookies into small pieces. Keep aside. In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate.
I am writing a blog post after almost a month which is like a decade for me. There are very few things than cooking that motivates me more. When I feel lazy and don't feel like writing on my blog, I cook and post the recipe. I find it easy and less time-consuming.
This particular recipe was prepared by me for the cooking competition that was held in my office two days back. I knew that I will post the recipe but only after the results were out. The results are due next week. Although I stand no chance, but it was loved by my colleagues and friends and that made me so so happy!
This is the first time, I cooked with Oregano which is also known as the Pasta Herb. It has a very strong and distinct smell which makes a dish with the spice stand out among all other dishes. This was also the first time I cooked with Olive Oil. It was also my first cooking competition, of any sorts.
Lots of first times.
It's a very simple recipe which has main 3 ingredients. Garlic, Oregano and Lemon Juice. There were certain modifications that I did which made it different from the original recipe. The recipe from www.allrecipes.com used Chicken Breasts but I used simple boneless chicken. This dish is very low on calorific value because it uses only Olive Oil. I also used Oregano because it is widely used in Italian and Greek dishes.
Here comes the recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 kg (boneless).
Lemon Juice - 1/2 Cup.
Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
Black Pepper powder - Half a teaspoon.
Garlic Paste - 100 gms. (There is nothing as too much Garlic)
Oregano - 1 teaspoon.
Olive Oil- 5 tablespoons.
Salt to taste.
Procedure:
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients.
The Marinade
Refrigerate it overnight.
Heat a little bit of Olve Oil in a wok.
Add the chicken.
Cook till the chicken is boiled and the juices get dried up.
This write-up on Ed Sheeran should have ideally come before
the write-up on One Direction because as my brother pointed out that my
background has a picture of Ed Sheeran so it was unfair for me to write about One Direction before
him. I knew it was.
So here I write.
Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran is a 24 year old English singer, songwriter and musician. He is a pretty new name in the music
industry. Neither is he as famous as Bryan Adams nor as mainstream as Enrique Iglesias. All he has is his voice and his guitar and when he sings, it's sheer poetry woven with melody. He will melt your heart like it's nobody else's business.
I discovered Ed Sheeran in 2012 when I heard his song, " Give me love" from his debut album "+" which released in the year 2011. I liked him at the very first go.The album was an instant hit. I loved this song more when I heard this song on "The Vampire Diaries", the magic of Damon-Elena, maybe!
But I rediscovered him last year when I just bumped into his song "Lego House". I have only one word to describe this song, it's otherworldly! This song whispers magic into my ears. I must have listened to this song a million times by now.
His next album was "X" which released in the year 2014 was more successful than its predecessor. Songs like "One", "Thinking Out Loud" and "Photograph" are worth mentioning here. In this album, my favorite song is "One". This album earned Ed Sheeran a nomination for Best New Artistat the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
While talking about Ed Sheeran, there is something which is worth mentioning is his association with other musicians. He was closely associated with Taylor Swift for her album, "Red" which released in the year 2012. But according to me, the best associative act of Ed Sheeran will be the song "All of the Stars " which is one of the theme songs from the movie, "The Fault in Our Stars", as well as the first track of the soundtrack album, "The Fault in Our Stars".
The best part of Ed Sheeran is that he never ever disappoints. He will always come up with something good. He is not mainstream so he is lesser-known to people. His music is more of poetry than songs. His songs will make you feel nostalgic, will make you feel that you're falling in love. It's like being in love with love.
Ed Sheeran is perhaps the cutest singer in the history of mankind. He is just so so cute. He still looks like a baby to me! But when he sings, everything else just stands still. His music is so simple, yet so inspiring. He sings from the core of his heart which makes his voice, enthralling. His music always make me smile. His songs bring happiness to me always and forever! Listen to him and trust me, you will never look back. As far as I'm concerned, his song "Thinking Out Loud" sums up everything for me!
When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades
And the crowds don't remember my name
When my hands don't play the strings the same way
I know you will still love me the same
Yes, I will love you, Ed Sheeran, till the end of time!

This is more of a dessert than an ice-cream but trust me, I haven't made anything which is so easy, yet so tasty. You just need 3 ingredients and it's done. By posting more recipes, I am also improving on my Food Photography skills. I just find it so difficult. Hope it gets better with time.
